What the site itself collects.

This site is static. There is no login, no account, no tracking cookie, and no third-party ad or marketing pixel.

Two analytics events are recorded: a click on any "Book the 30 minutes" or calendar link, and a view of the sample report page. Each event records the page path and a timestamp. No cookie is set, no IP address is stored against an identity, and no cross-site profile is built. This is separate from Kulshan's own telemetry claim: Kulshan the CLI tool sends nothing anywhere, this website's analytics is a website-level measurement only.

If you email me or book a call, I have your email address and whatever you chose to write or say. That is it.

engagement --data

Data received during an engagement.

Most engagements run with you operating Kulshan yourself, or with data you choose to export and send me. What happens to that data depends on which model applies, and the specific terms are agreed in writing before an engagement starts. In general:

where it lives

On my working machine, and, if you send an export, wherever you sent it from is unaffected: I do not forward it to a third-party platform or SaaS product. I do not currently use a cloud storage or ticketing system to hold engagement data; if that changes, this page will say so before it happens.

pseudonymization

Where an export is used, account IDs, resource identifiers, and other directly identifying values are replaced with placeholders before I look at the data where practical. The evidence-export tooling in Kulshan is built for this specifically: see the write-up at Share AWS cost evidence without sharing customer identifiers. Findings and figures are not identifying on their own.

destruction

Working files tied to an engagement are deleted once the engagement concludes and the final report has been delivered and accepted, unless we agree in writing to a different retention period for a specific reason.

Access or erasure requests.

To ask what I hold about you or your organization, or to ask me to delete it, email [email protected] with the subject line "Privacy request." I will confirm what I hold and act on a deletion request within a reasonable time, except where I am required to keep something for a legal or contractual reason and will tell you if that applies.
